SSC CHSL Vacancies 2026
The Staff Selection Commission has announced the SSC CHSL Vacancies 2026 along with notification. As per recruitment, a total of 2536 SSC CHSL Vacancies has been announced for Group C posts of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO). The SSC CHSL Notification 2026 is out and aspirants can refer to the steps given below to apply for this recruitment process.
Step 1: Visit to the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) official website @ssc.gov.in.
Step 2: Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) if not done earlier — note: OTR from old site (ssc.nic.in) is NOT valid

Step 3: Log in using Registration Number and Password.

Step 4: Click on “Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination, 2026” under Live Exam.
Step 5: Fill all details – Personal, Educational, Additional Information.

Step 6: Capture a live photograph using a webcam/mobile (no pre-existing photos allowed).

SSC CHSL 2026 Selection Process
As per the latest notification, the Staff Selection Commission is recruiting the SSC CHSL based on selection process. There are three stages of selection for the SSC CHSL Exam:
- Tier 1 Computer-Based Exam: It will consist of objective multiple-choice questions. Questions from English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge, and General Awareness will be asked.
- Tier 2 Computer-Based Exam: Tier 2 also includes a computer-based test. Depending on the post applied for, candidates will have to appear for a skill test.

What is the SSC CHSL Qualification 2026?
- Candidates applying for LDC/JSA and most DEO posts must have passed Class 12th or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
- For certain DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ posts, candidates must have passed 12th in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject.
- Candidates appearing in their Class 12th examination can also apply. However, they must obtain the required qualification by 7th October 2026.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2026
The SSC CHSL exam is conducted in two tiers, Tier I and Tier II. Tier I is objective in nature and questions from English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness are asked.
